Albert Wu

Pastor for Tap Richmond

Originally from Toronto Ontario, Albert first moved to Geneva Switzerland to work with Franciscan Monks at the United Nations before coming to Vancouver. But, no matter where he went he continued to feel God’s calling to pastoral ministry.

In 2004 he came to the rainy city do his M.Div at Regent College and also because his girlfriend was studying to be a physiotherapist across the street. While he was falling in love with Jessie he also fell in love with a tiny church plant by the name of, “The Tapestry” and he never left.

He is now happily married to his lovely wife Jessie who continues to practice physiotherapy in a clinic in Kitsilano. In 2015, a beautiful daughter, Kailah Emery, was born, followed By Carissa Ava in 2019, and Camilla Rae in 2021. The family is now happy to call Vancouver and The Tapestry home and even enjoy the rain from time to time.
