Marriage and Couples
Our marriage ministry works to support strong, vibrant Christ-centered relationships.
We value God’s plan in the covenantal nature of marriage, and understand that outside of our intimacy with God, the next priority should be our spouse.
Tap Couples seeks to proactively enhance this all important dynamic between husband and wife with fun events to be in community with others, marriage mentors to facilitate intentional conversations, resource speakers/webinars and marriage conferences that help each couple find their unique path towards oneness.
PREMARITAL SESSIONS
We offer marriage preparation sessions to any couple moving into the long-term relationship of life-partnering in marriage . Each of 4-6 sessions is done one-on-one with a pastor or trained lay facilitator.

Do you know any engaged or very committed dating couples in your circles? We’d love to complement what the church is already doing to invest in them with "Starting Marriage Strong," a fun, interactive, online marriage prep course that equips couples to explore or pursue marriage with wisdom, hope and helpful communication tools.
This 8-week course is hosted by Braden and Kristen Hafner, Regional Directors of FamilyLife in Alberta, via Zoom. Through various presenters, couples’ conversations, and suggested readings, couples will come away knowing each other much better and with great tools to continue to grow a healthy relationship. It is invaluable to go into marriage with these tools to start their marriage strong! -

MARRIAGE MENTORING
Our marriage mentoring program is a wonderful way to connect couples who’ve been together a season or two ahead of a mentee pair. It is based on FamilyLife Canada material. Our mentors are not therapists or counselors, they don’t have perfect marriages but have been together long enough to weather the storms of life a bit.
How does it work?
Couples often feel their struggles are unique to them, through a series of 14 focused conversations, marriage mentoring helps normalize those issues and knits couples more closely into church community.
Why be mentors?
1. It's a ministry that couples can do together that is fun and meaningful
2. Tap Couples team and staff provide all the training.
We’d like to be mentored!
1. If you can commit to meeting once a month for 1.5-2 hours, we’ll match you with a mentor couple.
