The Art of Evangelism

THURSDAYS | June 29, July 6, and July 13

The Christian practice and theology of evangelism has been rigorously studied for thousands of years by scholars, clergy, and everyday followers of Jesus. Yet despite all their wise and faithful contributions, many of us still feel awkward and/or un-prepared when it comes to making disciples and doing “the work of an evangelist” (2 Timothy 4:5) in our own lives.

The Art of Evangelism is not a course where someone is going to tell you what to think about evangelism and give you a fool-proof formula for how to do it. Instead, this three-session course is designed to meet you where you’re at and to offer you a biblical tool-belt for navigating your missional call to make disciples and share Jesus’ Good News in the shifting cultural terrain of today’s world.

If you have a heart to see family, friends and even strangers come to faith in Christ and you are willing to wrestle with your hopes, fears and questions around evangelism, this course may be just the thing for you this summer. For more information, please contact albert.wu@thetapestry.ca
