Dec 31 - Mal 3

Dec 31

Read Mal 3:1-4:6 and Pr 31:21-31

Congratulations!  365 days later!  We are done with reading through the 39 books of the Old Testament!  I'll keep today's blog short and sweet!

6 “I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7 Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD Almighty

The above passage in Malachi 3 pretty much summarizes what I hope you have discovered this past year in reading through God’s word.

God does not change.  God is faithful!  God is not some abstract being, an impersonal being that sets the world spinning, but a God that gets involved and holds all the universe in his hand.  A true God of providence who provides for the needs of the world that he himself made.  Who has this mysterious control of everything!

Does knowing that impact the way you live your life?  Does experiencing that this past year bring a great sense of purpose and meaning in your life?

It’s been a great ride!  Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Thank you
