Tap Care

In our desire to follow Jesus’ command to love one another and to help carry each other’s burdens, the goal of our care ministry is to support and provide care to those within our Tapestry family.  We all struggle and live with such difficulties as job loss, grief, illness, depression, addiction, and other situations that may cause a need for on-going care.

Our care ministry provides three tiers of care for an individual or family:

  1. Immediate care such as offering of food or help in response to an event.
  2. On-going support with a member of our care team to help talk through life issues and enable God's presence to be felt and known through a life crisis.
  3. Pastoral counseling with one of our pastors.  This may possibly lead to a referral to a counselor or psychologist.

If you require any of these three levels of care, we want to support and come alongside you.  Please contact our Pastor of Care -

Tap Care Team is expanding to meet the needs of our growing community.  We invite you to join our team: please Contact Pastor Kathy at

Tier one helps by:  cooking meals, offering the occasional  ride or helping with a move for anyone in our community.
Time commitment: One to five hours per month, quarterly meetings
Tier two are  individuals equipped to walk alongside a friend during a difficult season
Time commitment: six to ten hours per month with monthly meetings (Includes 20 hours of training)

What is our goal?

Our mission is for the Tap to be a refuge for families and individuals affected by disability; a place where they feel embraced, engaged and empowered to reach their fullest potential in the body of Christ.

What will we do?

Offer fellowship, prayer, respite and other services to those in need, to help them be included in church activities and grow in Christ alongside us.

Why get involved?

Jesus is the archetype to whom we aspire - He is filled with love, mercy, compassion and understanding for the less fortunate in society.
