Kathy Kiesser

Kathy likes the big life questions like: Who am I? Who is God? and Why are we here anyways? These questions and the adventure of discovering God’s presence in them were the catalyst that pulled her into ministry. She has a passion for creating interactive worship experiences, and for working with individuals and groups as they travel the valleys and mountain-tops of their faith journey.
Kathy is married to Jan whose passion is story-telling through visual media. They moved to Vancouver from Santa Monica, California in 1994 with their three children in tow. The relocation opened up space for Kathy to pursue her passion for spiritual journey at Regent College. She holds an M.Div. from Regent College, a Spiritual Directorship with SoulStream, as well as a B.ED from the University of Oregon.
Kathy and Jan are very blessed by their adult children who are married and beginning their own families. Their long collaboration with each other has grown a passion to support and encourage marriages in our community. Kathy collects children’s books, likes cooking for family dinners, refinishing old furniture, exploring tide pools, gardening, and reading magazines from back to front.
