Michael Yang
Pastor for Tap Nights
Michael serves as the pastor of Tapestry Nights. Jesus found Michael in a little international school in the heart of Taiwan, and he has never been able to shake off Jesus since. He sees being a disciple of Jesus as the most compelling and transformative thing anyone can give their life to, and longs for others to join in on this. He understands his calling to be a person who lives in the intersection between church, culture, and creativity.
Michael holds a M.Div from Regent College, along with a B.Ed in secondary education and a B.A. in history from UBC. He loves to share with the people of today, the riches of the ancient historic Christian tradition. Other things that Michael loves in no particular order include: books, basketball, writing, chilling with friends, and tacos.
Michael is married to his high school sweetheart Kristi, and they enjoy life together over coffee, long walks, Netflix, what they’re reading, and all the little everyday blessings.
