Song of Songs_Imperfect Dance

Where has your beloved gone, most beautiful of women? Which way did your beloved turn, that we may look for him with you?” Songs of Songs 6:1

The story of the two lovers in the Song of Songs is a story of an “imperfect dance,” for although the two lovers express their love and longing for each other, admire the beauty and strength in the other, and experience a closeness that is deeply intimate and personal, their union is also a story about misunderstanding and missed opportunities that leads to missed connections. In this study you will explore the relational dynamics of closeness and seperation, the importance of memory in the emotionally healthy realtionships and the ways we can cultivate pracitices that foster reconnection and reunion.
