This is like a theological cannon from Paul - a blast of truth, grace and mercy; explaining to his readers, who God is and what his righteousness is and does.

 

This sermon will elaborate on God's righteousness (in light of our indictment, "There is no one righteous; not even one" - 3:10), and aim to move - as Paul does - minds and hearts to see that salvation is entirely from God.  Our only move is faith, "an act of acceptance and surrender."
